Limits you set yourself
Tembilo lets you look up food, record meals and compare recorded values with daily limits you set. All lower and upper limits — for energy, nutrients, vitamins, minerals or supplement ingredients — are entered by you and are not recommended intakes, doses or safety thresholds. Demonstration values explain the interface and do not automatically become your limits. You can log without setting limits.
Progress, percentages and colours on Today only compare recorded values with your self-set limits. Nutrient bars on food cards use your corresponding daily target as their display reference when set. Otherwise, they use FSANZ food-labelling reference amounts: protein 50 g, carbohydrate 310 g and fat 70 g. The bars show no percentages or warning colours. These reference amounts are not saved as your limits and are not personal intake recommendations or safety standards. Progress, bars and today's summary do not rate diet quality or direct your next meal. Daily totals start a new period at local midnight on your device; previous records remain. A missing entry does not mean no consumption.
Food data is for reference
AFCD/USDA food composition, OFF product data and portion conversions are reference values, not dietary, nutrition or medical advice. Brands, recipes, batches, preparation and portions affect actual values. Check current packaging, quantities and units, and adjust entries when needed. Missing values do not mean zero, and generic food composition is not a brand-specific ingredient list.
Carbohydrate definitions can differ between sources and Chinese translations may be imperfect; retain and check sources, original names and field definitions. OFF community data may be incomplete or outdated and not every barcode has a result. Where packaging ingredients are displayed, they come from the corresponding source text. The app does not infer missing ingredients from composition values or assess allergy safety.
Age and alcohol
For users aged 16 and over. The library and barcode results may contain alcohol entries; display is not encouragement to drink or a service selling alcohol. The product minimum age does not establish the local legal age to buy or consume alcohol.
